Like every week, Michel Drucker returns to the air this November 10, 2024 to present a new issue of Looking forward to Sunday on France 3 from 1:50 p.m. The principle is always the same: on its red sofa, well-known personalities come to talk about their daily lives, their passions, their careers. Relatives of these stars are also present to tell their own story about the life of the main guest. But this Sunday, it's a somewhat special episode which is expected given that it pays tribute to Dalida.
On May 3, 1987, the famous singer took her own life after spending the night alone in her house at 11 bis rue d'Orchampt, in Paris. She committed suicide by swallowing a lethal dose of barbiturates with whiskey. Dalida had left two letters, one to François Naudy, the last man in her life, and the other to her brother Orlando. “Life is unbearable for me, forgive me“, she wrote on a last note. Thirty-seven years have passed since then but the memory of the interpreter of Lyrics Lyrics remains intact. Notably thanks to her brother Orlando (88 years old) who continued to make his sister's career grow thanks to his status as universal legatee.
The producer will of course be present on Michel Drucker's set in Looking forward to Sunday to talk about Dalida’s unforgettable journey. The singer Barbara Says will join him to perform a title from the Egyptian artist's catalog. An artist she admires a lot, so much so that she decided to incorporate it into her latest music video Who I wasfrom his new album La Pieva. The show therefore promises to be very moving!
Looking forward to Sunday cut short this November 10!
Note that Michel Drucker is deprived of the second part this week. For good reason, from 2:40 p.m., the closing gala of the 2024 French Grand Prix of figure skating will be broadcast on France 3. We will then find Nathalie Péchalat and her fellow experts in the field to comment on the event.
