TWEET REVIEW – The actors were present on the YouTuber’s channel to promote the film Phew Love. Throughout the video, they appeared with a small accessory which displeased Internet users.

“Who is the imposter?” is one of the most successful projects on Squeezie’s channel, ’s second largest YouTuber. The concept is simple: he is surrounded by two guests and receives groups of three people pretending to have a job in common. Squeezie and his cronies will have to find out which of the three people is a liar – and the accomplice of one of them.

In this Saturday, October 19 edition, the videographer welcomed Alain Chabat and Adèle Exarchopoulos. Unfortunately for the two actors, it was not their detective skills that caught the attention of Internet users. Indeed, at several points in the video, the two guests appeared with an electronic cigarette in their hand, also nicknamed an “puff” (“puff” in EnglishEditor’s note.) depending on the brand.

This type of electronic cigarette has replaced cigarettes for many young people, benefiting from a colorful visual appearance and different tastes. Nevertheless, the «puffs» can contain up to 20 milligrams of nicotine depending on the brand, constituting a health hazard, according to our colleagues at Figaro Health . Squeezie’s audience, real name Lucas Hauchard, remains composed of young adolescents or young adults who are easily influenced. Some Internet users reminded him of this.

On X, the YouTuber’s older fans denounced the editing of the video which reveals the little pink accessory. “We are already trying to prevent adolescents from “s’amuser“with that, it would be nice to avoid releasing it on video”writes an Internet user. Under his publication, already more than 33,000 likes and hundreds of comments of support since Saturday. “You’re right”, “Knowing that Squeezie’s audience is young, it’s not crazy, really”, “It’s disappointing and disrespectful”, “You are right to point that out.”we can read.

A little further down on the same social network, another Internet user is sad. “We see Adèle pulling on her puff every five minutes. I find it unfortunate that a YouTuber with such a large audience accepts this and broadcasts it.he laments.

Same under the YouTube video. “How I laughed, thank you! Adèle, I love nature painting. Small downside for the puff in the video… It’s already a scourge among young people, so we might as well not encourage them I guess.writes a user. Below his comment, other Internet users point out the same problem: “No one talks about it even though it gives such a bad image to young people”, “Why let guests smoke puffs, it seems to me that cigarettes are not allowed”we read again. As we write these lines, the Youtuber has neither reacted nor modified the editing of his show which already has more than 3 million views less than 24 hours after its release.
