In the first image, Adèle Exarchopoulos, wearing a hood on her head, takes a close-up of her nose, visibly deformed by the blow she received. The second photo shows the rest of her treatments: the nose and part of the face of the heroine of Thieves are covered with dressings.

Operation and cast for 15 days

This impressive injury is not really a discovery since the actress told us about it behind the scenes during an interview with Madame Figaro in September 2023. “I wanted to do my stunts myself,” testified the one who followed intensive training with a coach. (…) We had a fight scene (…) While everyone was getting ready, I offered the actor who plays my opponent a last little rehearsal. And I completely forgot about the new choreography.” And added: “I woke up on the ground, bleeding. Faced with my devastated partner, even though it was my fault.”

An operation and a cast for two weeks will follow. “My only regret is that no one filmed our fight because, in my memories, it was perfect: precise, boxy, magnificent,” recalled Adèle Exarchopoulos.
