If he hadn’t wanted to throw out names, we now know that there is indeed a singer, star of the 80s, that he has in his sights. This is François Valéryto whom he has just made a “big dedication” !
Nagui physically threatened
This is what he said this October 9, 2024, on the set of “Don’t forget the lyrics“. His candidate had the choice between two songs – “The Black Legend” by Black M and “Emmanuelle” by François Valéry. And he chose the second.
Nagui then shared this anecdote: “One day, I made a joke about François Valéry. He called me directly on my cell phone saying: ‘I’m Corsican, I have Corsican friends, you make another joke about me and we kick your legs‘”.
And added: “Yeah seriously. Legs or arms, lark, I’ll pluck you, I don’t know“, remembering that François Valéry was “very, very angry“ that day.
What happened to the singer?
This is how Nagui decided not to “never again will there be any jokes about François Valéry.” This Wednesday, however, he wished him, with irony “a very good career“.
It must be said that during his lucrative career, the 80s singer released only two albums. It is about “How stupid are we?” (1997) et “I came to tell you” (2014). His last tour, “Tender age and wooden heads”it dates back to 10 years ago. Not sure he appreciates Nagui’s little comment…
