A most informative interview. To take stock of the return to television after the Olympic Games and present the headline projects, Ara Aprikian, number 2 of TF1, agreed to answer questions from “Parisien” this Sunday, October 6, 2024.
“For the current season or the next”
During this exchange, media journalist Benjamin Meffre asked the private group’s general director of content: “Will the reality TV show “Secret Story” return to TF1?“. To which the latter replied in all frankness: “It’s not yet decided. We want it but there are economic and programming parameters to take into consideration. That’s a big ticket and represents a lot of airtime. Different options are being studied, and it will be necessary to know whether it is for the current season or the following one.“.
Furthermore, Ara Aprikian was questioned about the thirteenth season of “Dancing with the Stars”, marked by the conflict between comedian Inès Reg and singer Natasha St-Pier. He explained about the show hosted by Camille Combal: “She was held up very well on air. Last season was a great success with strong personalities. Our goal is not to create buzz, and I regret the exploitation of this matter by social networks and certain media. We are working on casting for next season“.

Finally, the 58-year-old leader spoke on the “Star Academy” program which returns Saturday October 12 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1, still with Nikos Aliagas. “Our challenge is to do even better. It’s up to us to find the right ingredients to be up to the task. We will have a new set, a godmother, Clara Luciani, at the top, a promising cast and a good mix in the teaching staff between known and new faces. We can’t wait“, he said.
