“Otherwise I would have done a real job”, Laurence Boccolini reframed by Jean-Pierre Foucault in “Children of TV”

This Friday, October 4, the show was held TV kidsas usual, on 2. For the occasion, a distinguished guest was present to answer questions from Laurence Boccolini. And for good reason! It is none other than Jean-Pierre Foucaultemblematic figure of TF1, who agreed to come on the set of the France 2 show.

Questioned by Laurence Boccolini on many subjectsJean-Pierre Foucault allowed himself a slight reframing with regard to the host when she came to the subject… of the baccalaureate. A question that did not fail to attract the attention of the principal concerned!

Jean-Pierre Foucault pulls out his claws

Good humor is always present on the set of the show hosted by Laurence Boccolini. Indeed, TV kids regularly receives prestigious guests who make French celebrity and/or media news. This Friday, October 4, it was the turn of Jean-Pierre Foucault to play the game and answer the many questions from the one he knows very well. Professional life, personal life or even future projects: everything has been covered.

However, one subject particularly caught the attention of Jean-Pierre Foucault : that of the baccalaureate. Indeed, the famous host from allowed himself a little reframing when Laurence Boccolini questioned him about his years at school. “Jean-Pierre, were you a good student?”she then says to him. To which Jean-Pierre Foucault immediately retorts: “Not at all. Otherwise, I would have done another job, a real job”. Obviously well informed, the host worked on him, tackling the subject of his failure in the baccalaureate even though he had had the subjects beforehand!

A failed baccalaureate due to overconfidence

In the sequence, Jean-Pierre Foucault explains that he had managed to get the subjects the day before his baccalaureate exam. Yet, the famous host still managed to miss it : “In Marseille, there was a bistro where we sold the baccalaureate subjects. We didn’t revise anything and when we arrived at high school, those were the subjects in question”. The observation made by Jean-Pierre Foucault is clear: “Out of 10,000 candidates in Marseille, three failed. That’s it…”.

An anecdote that shows all the enthusiasm and carefreeness that we can have when we are young. Visibly, having failed your baccalaureate was not a hindrance for Jean-Pierre Foucault. The host has had a great career on television and has established himself as a notable personality in the French audiovisual landscape. So you don’t necessarily need to get everything right the first time to get through it!
