Princess Beatrice is expecting her second child
After a series of cancers revealed in recent months, the British royal family can finally rejoice: a new royal baby is planned for next year.
Princess Beatrice and her husband, property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, announced the happy news yesterday via the British crown’s social media channels.
In the caption of two photos showing the couple and their children, Christopher “Wolfie”, son of Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi from a previous relationship, and Sienna, born in 2021, is written: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and M Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very happy to announce that they are expecting their second child in early spring, a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna. His Majesty the King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

West End lights go out in tribute to Maggie Smith
The iconic railings and illuminated posters of major shows in London’s West End were switched off for two minutes yesterday in tribute to Dame Maggie Smith, as seen in several videos shared on social media.
The Oscar-winning British actress died last Friday at the age of 89. Like other icons of British and international stage and cinema, the interpreter of Professor Minerva McGonagall in the “Harry Potter” saga, among other memorable performances, was entitled to this traditional tribute from London’s Broadway.
