Prison requested against Iris Mittenaere’s companion, suspected of having hit her head against a wall

Iris Mittenaere filed a complaint this Wednesday, September 25 against her companion Bruno Pelat for domestic violence. The 22-year-old man was taken into police custody this Thursday before appearing before the criminal court this Friday.

The former Miss and Miss Universe allegedly testified to being beaten by her companion, who hit her head against a wall. The man who is manager of a real estate agency and son of real estate magnate Olivier Pelat also allegedly threatened his 31-year-old partner with “make him lose contracts” or from “fire your father”according to information from Le Parisien.

Already convicted four times, notably for violence

Facts serious enough for the prosecutor to require the detention of Bruno Pelat, already convicted four times, in particular for violence against his father or his former partner.

“My impulsivity is a problem. I will no longer have contact with her. I want her to be happy”he confided about Iris Mittenaere during the hearing. He was placed under judicial supervision with a ban on contact with the former Miss France and an obligation of care.

His trial was, however, postponed, at the request of Iris Mittenaere who wishes to provide her testimony before the courts.
