The group “Bijou” revealed by Gainsbourg in the mid-70s returns with a record whose first clip will be filmed in Aubrac at the end of October. A casting is proposed to look for a woman and a man aged between 25 and 35 years old.
In the last century, in 1989, a double disc entitled “Générations rock’n’roll” had the good idea of saluting the devil’s music with French sauce. It started with the inevitable Johnny with “Johnny, come back!”, followed by “The Wild Cats” with Dick Rivers, “The Black Socks” with Eddy Mitchell, Serge Gainsbourg with his “slot machine”, Jacques Dutronc and his “cacti », Nino Ferrer and his “cornichons” and Bijou with “Ok Carole” and “Lola”.
Bijou, revealed by Serge Gainsbourg who sang with the group “Les Papillons Noirs” in 1978, spans the centuries while keeping the rock’n’roll spirit.
Evidenced by its reformation under the name “Bijou SVP” and fifteen years after their last album, “Autopsy” with Bernie Bonvoisin (singer of the group Trust) and Didier Wampas, the release of a new album entitled “Ramdam”, proof that the group still intends to make itself heard. “In life, there is only one path: righteousness. Youth must be careful, I caught up,” confides Philippe Dauga, bassist who reformed the group in 2004.
The album will be promoted by the song “Il peut cours”, a cover rewritten in French of “Keep on running” by the group “The Spencers David Group” released in 1965. No return to the sources of rock’n’roll but essence in continuity. “Music is there to give energy, especially in our time. I have kept my youth and the group is still in good shape,” assures Philippe Daugla who will come to film the video for this song in Aubrac.
Filming on October 26 and 27
To do this, a casting call is proposed to find a man and a woman aged between 25 and 35, “having had a little experience in the theater”, specifies Philippe Glorioso, in charge of directing the clip. And time is running out since filming is scheduled for October 26 and 27.
