“We are always told that after , there is nothing, it’s bullshit!” smiles Lucien Jean-Baptiste, who has been living in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire for two and a half years. During the lockdown, and by chance, the actor, voice actor and director found himself in Vendée… To never leave her again!

A film shot in Vendée

In addition to never leaving Vendée, and putting on a show on social networks, he has even decided to put it forward. Four years agohe chose to shoot a film in Vendée.

“I had asked the Institut Sports Océan to film in Les Sables-d’Olonne but the dates didn’t suit… So I fell back on La Tranche-sur-Mer. But we can still see the region!”

Stars who cancel after giving their agreement, financing, filming… The completion of this project was not a long, quiet river for the Martinican.

But he is relieved to offer the preview, at the Grand Palace cinema in Sables-d’Olonne, Friday September 20. The national release is scheduled for October 2, 2024.

“I’m a little anxious but I know that it’s a film that will appeal to the population of Les Sables-d’Olonne because there are a lot of seniors. On the poster, there is the subtitle “at 60, everything is permitted”, there is a large part of the population of Les Sables-d’Olonne who will feel concerned. What should we do when we approach retirement?”
