A wind of change will blow over the next edition of the Gala Québec Cinéma, as Jay Du Temple will give up his place as host.

This Wednesday, August 28, the team behind the ceremony announced the identity of the new host who will take over the reins of the evening, for the next edition which will take place on December 8.
And it is none other than Phil Roy who will lead the 26th edition of the awards ceremony.

The latter was also delighted with this new mandate:
“What an honour to host the next edition of the Gala Québec Cinéma. As a big fan of Quebec cinema myself, I can’t wait to celebrate! An evening that will, yes, pay tribute to the passion of our creators, but it is also an event that is primarily aimed at those who consume Quebec cinema. Even if the catchphrase of cinema is Quiet, we’re filming! “December 8th will be anything but silent!” we could read in a press release.
Obviously known as a comedian, the father of Billie and Cléo has gained a lot of experience in hosting for several years, whether on TV with shows like ALT, Phil s’invite et Who can sing?or, more recently, A little, a lot, passionately this summer on the microphone of Rouge, on the radio.
