The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) announces the 5th edition of science week. ”Science Week” will be held from February 17 to 23. Artificial intelligence and agriculture will be at the heart of the discussions, with the aim of “reconciling technological advances with the aspirations of society. »

(Cio mag) – On the occasion of the 5th meeting of the science week, the UM6P of Benguérir offers its podium to several researchers to share the progress of their work. The mathematician Daniel Andler, specialist in artificial intelligence issues, Choukri Ben Mamoun, professor of medicine at Yale University, and Heide Hackmann, director of Future Africa and many others will present their work.

Participants will discuss, all week, the role of science in the service of tomorrow, the transversality of artificial intelligence in the service of health and the essentiality of agriculture. The work will aim to place humans at the heart of technological advances and to make them solutions to the challenges facing the continent.

“This next edition promises a dive into the heart of the revolutions in artificial intelligence, which is shaking up the health sector, particularly medicine, from diagnosis to treatment. The challenges of an agriculture in full transformation whose relationship to the soil is fundamental and represents an essential resource for the production of food on the planet and the preservation of the environment”, announced the University which positions itself as a hub innovation on the continent.
