Thirteen nominations for the 2025 Oscars for “Emilia Perez”: “Boldness pays,” rejoices Jacques Audiard

The film has just received 13 nominations, a record number for a non-English language feature film, in numerous categories: best films, director, adapted screenplay, editing, sound, photography, foreign language film, makeup and hairstyling, actress for Karla Sofía Gascón, actress in a supporting role for Zoe Saldana, as well as three for composers Camille and Clément Ducol — best music and two nominations for the songs “El Mal” and “Mi Camino”.
