The medical advisor to the Public Health Department of the Integrated Health and Social Services Center of Outaouais (CISSSO) Carole McConnery, reported an increase in the number of cases of seasonal influenza type Influenza in the region.

Carole McConnery indicated that in addition to Influenza, emergency rooms remain attentive to cases of Covid-19, since this virus in particular is not seasonal, but “circulates all year round”.

It is possible to make an appointment on the Info-Santé website to receive your free vaccine against the Influenza virus, or to go directly to a community pharmacy.
