Christine Dejoux: this scene that she refused to shoot in La Soupe aux choux
The actress recently gave an interview to our colleagues at TV Magazine. Christine Dejoux, now 71 years old, returned to the set of the cult comedy. If she agreed to appear in the feature film, it was above all to realize one of her acting dreams. “I met Louis de Funès for the first time during the tests. And it’s not a trivial moment because he’s been my idol since I was a kid. I think it was the desire to play with him one day that pushed me to want to be an actress. Otherwise, frankly, the story of La Soupe aux choux… it would be very hypocritical to say that I was crazy about it!“, she begins.
However, during filming, Christine Dejoux will have to bang on the table so as not to have to shoot a naked scene. She will then directly address the French star, also co-author of the film’s script.
