Gad Elmaleh is one of the stars who have decided to invest part of their money to set up projects. Like Kev Adams, who has been multiplying his projects for several years and who has notably launched into the comedy club business, Charlotte Casiraghi’s former companion also has his own place dedicated to humor.
A place which has not yet opened but an acquisition which did not fail to create a buzz since Gad Elmaleh bought the legendary cabaret Chez Michoubelonging to the late cabaret director, who died in 2020. Obviously, this purchase gave ideas to the one who provided a detail about his identity that many are surely unaware of, since he initiated a new comedy club project. But this time in the south and more precisely in the city of Marseille ! It was this Monday, January 20 that the famous comedian, who studied in Montreal before making all of France laugh, announced the opening of his second humor club in the Marseille city. An establishment that he decided to call the Vig’s and for which he associated with two childhood friendsas indicated by our colleagues from Provence.
A comedy club in Marseille inspired by the success of Jamel Debbouze
-Good news for all fans of the actor, who displayed his physical change during a big event last year. His new project will take place in a legendary place in the city since it is the Old Portone of the most visited places in Marseille. In addition to the comedy shows which will start two evenings a week, customers will also be able to eat in this comedy club which will be able to accommodate around a hundred people. For Marie Drucker’s ex, the goal with this new project is to “give priority to local artists”as he asserts Provence. “Talents grow every day without being known yet”he insists before revealing what inspired him for this new place: “Jamel (Debbouze) was the first to start a comedy club. Moreover, for this reason, this word is very often associated with him in France”explains Gad Elmaleh, very happy to be able to set up in Marseille.
As a reminder, Gad Elmaleh will soon be on stage at the Dôme de Paris for his show Himselffrom January 28 to February 15 and on tour throughout France.
