The X account of actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, 67, was hacked almost two weeks ago, and nothing seems to indicate that the Belgian star has taken control of its content.
Jean Claude Van Damme is facing the hacking of his X account. In the last 24 hours, several messages have surfaced on the actor’s network. Except that these latter are more than surprising. “I like to dance because I have nothing else to do”, “I bought a yacht for 4 million US dollars, but I can’t donate more than 4 US dollars to shelters for animals in need . My money only belongs to me”, we can read in particular, when the actor apologizes in another publication for having “lied to everyone for so long”, about the advertising produced in 2013 for the account by Volvo, in which the actor performed his famous splits between two moving trucks, a feat that the message left on X attributes to stuntman Alain Moussi.
According to the 64-year-old actor, his account has been hacked since the beginning of the month. This is what he suggested on Instagram in a post dated January 7, in which he first warned those who would try to perform his famous splits, emphasizing that this exercise required training, before explaining that he had “the passwords to his X account stolen by former employees”.
The actor warns his fans
“The real Van Damme is on Instagram and Facebook ONLY right now until I get my YouTube password back and I’m not asking for anything,” posted the star of 1990s action films before concluding: “these YouTube and X platforms are being held hostage,” without forgetting to thank his fans.
-The version of password theft by employees could well have been corroborated by the latter themselves. “I’m not hacked. I simply don’t pay my employees,” indicates a message published Sunday on the actor’s X network, who in this publication largely takes his position.
“I don’t support my children. I don’t train. I don’t eat. I don’t sleep. That’s how I make bad films one after the other. I don’t know why I’m doing this?”, concludes the vindictive message.
