«I had made my appointment and I’m ready to relax. It was already stressful getting there. […] I arrive at the spa and they are very directive, the ladies who are there. They point at me, ‘Send, go there! Do this!’ They ask me to take everything off and put on a bathrobe. I arrive in a sort of tiled room. There are four imposing ladies asking me to take off my dressing gown. I’m brand new! And they start to scrub me [NDLR:exfolier]…but I have never been scrubbed like this in my life! They exfoliate my skin, but I have a sunburn and I want to die. They don’t talk to me, wash my hair and rub me, rub me again and suddenly turn me away. After that, they start, with wet towels, to whip me. I go to a massage table, they nudge me. I received a fair volley! I was on a deck chair afterwards, and my skin was in shreds. I’ve never seen anything like this.»
It’s so funny!
The bursts of laughter Marie-Claude Savard between two terrible details add to this already delicious story.
