Five years in prison, two of which are closed. This is the sentence handed down last November against Pierre Palmade. Accused of involuntary injuries after the serious accident he caused in February 2023 by driving under the influence of drugs after several days of partying, the actor and comedian was incarcerated on December 9 at Bordeaux-Gradignan prison.
Pierre Palmade’s fight in prison against his addictions
If the former accomplice of Muriel Robin and Michèle Laroque has returned behind bars, his incarceration does not mean that his detoxification is over. Addicted to drugs and alcohol, Pierre Palmade continues to fight against his addictions in prison. To help him cope and finally leave his problems behind him, the actor and comedian can count on the weekly help of a professional. “On the medical side, he follows his care, a doctor even visits him every week. Medical secrecy requires, we do not know the nature of the treatment for his addictions”written as follows RTL in an article devoted to his conditions of detention.
Pierre Palmade under psychological surveillance
Incarcerated in solitary confinement”given the extreme media coverage to which it is subject.Pierre Palmade currently lives in a cell of around ten square meters with a “basic cuisine” as well as a corner bringing together a shower and a toilet. He would spend his days, according to some witnesses, reading or watching TV and would regularly skip walks, “too gloomy for him”. The actor and comedian, who will be able to request a sentence adjustment in a few months, would benefit from special attention from guards. “His psychological fragility triggers an intensification of the rounds”writes RTL, specifying that Pierre Pamade is described as “destroyed” by prison sources. “Whether he goes to the shower or to the visiting room, he would be systematically monitored or accompanied by one of the guards.”France Dimanche recently affirmed.
