Mbest female artist, best album of the year, best song and best concert. Will Santa leave with one or more of these rewards on February 14?
A recognition that would bring relief to her heart after the immense disappointment at the NRJ Music Awards last year, which favored Vitaa and Pierre Garnier in the female artist and song of the year categories. Overcoming her disappointment, she thanked her fans on Instagram for their mobilization and promised them to “continue to give the best performances and set fire everywhere”.
From Hyphen Hyphen to a solo career
The native of Nice made herself known with the English-speaking rock group Hyphen Hyphen, which she founded in 2009 with childhood friends and of which she is the singer. After a first album in 2015 (The Times), the group won the 2016 Victoire de la Musique for scene revelation.
The young woman, with an American mother who is also a singer and a French father, has been developing a solo and French career since 2022, notably with the single “Popcorn salé” which is a real hit.
