The comedian Jean-Michel Dupuis died at the age of 69this Saturday, September 14, following a long illness, Sylvie Audcœur, his last partner, told AFP.
The actor was a figure of supporting roles. He made numerous theatre appearances, such as in The First Nameor in several plays by William Shakespeare (King Lear, Pericles, Prince of Tyreor Antony and Cleopatra). He had been nominated six times in the best supporting actor category at the Molières.
He has also been seen in the cinema, in films by Claude Pinoteau (La Boum), Édouard Molinaro (Left when exiting the elevator, Love in sweetness), by Bertrand Blier (Thank you life) or Claude Lelouch (Beware bandits, The beautiful story). Jean-Michel Dupuis was also appeared in many television series or television films.
