Park Sung Hoon left the cast of the drama “The Tyrant’s Chef”.
Last December, we learned that the actor was close to joining the project, but today it was announced that he was leaving the drama.
This follows recent controversy. Recently, Park Sung Hoon shared the image of an adult video concept version of “Squid Game” on Instagram, before quickly deleting his share. Soon after, his agency, BH Entertainment, explained that he received it via DM and recorded it to alert agency staff, but accidentally posted it online. Since then, he has come under criticism, and part of the public requested his withdrawal from the drama “The Tyrant’s Chef”, where he was announced alongside YoonA (SNSD).
On January 12, 2025, the drama’s production company, Studio Dragon, officially announced:
“After numerous discussions between the production team and Park Sung Hoon’s representatives, the decision was made that it would be difficult for him to join this project. The actor and his agency have repeatedly apologized regarding recent events, and we have discussed various conditions in depth. Following our discussions, the production team and Park Sung Hoon decided to pursue separate paths. »
His replacement for the lead role of the drama has not yet been chosen.
