Daniela Capone is one of ten celebrities to take part in the docu-adventure The Island broadcast since January 7 on M6. Near Tele-Leisurethe 28-year-old young woman spoke about her adventure but also talked about what affected her when her husband Nico Capone participated in Dancing with the stars last year.
Tuesday January 7, M6 launched a new season of The Island after more than 6 years of absence. Daniela Capone is one of ten celebrities to have to survive and undertake a trek in the hostile jungle of Ko Tarutao, a virgin island in the south of Thailand. Associated in their successful humorous videos on social networks, her husband Nico was distinguished in Dancing with the stars in 2024, an edition where he finished as a finalist. During an interview given to 50′ Inside, he confided in the difficulties of his other half during his adventure in the face of reactions from social networks: “When she saw these comments, she called me crying. She really wanted me to stop the showshe told me. We didn’t deserve that, we don’t deserve that, we only make humorous videos and when I saw this hatred that I received, this wave of anger, I didn’t understand why.”

On the sidelines of an interview given to Tele-Leisure on his participation in The Island, Daniela Capone reflected on her husband’s experience in Dancing with the stars, and in particular the dancer who accompanied her throughout the adventure. “Inès (Vandamme, editor’s note) was amazing to us. She often gave me news, saying for example: ‘Your darling is fine, he hurt his heel but he’ll be fine’. She took care of him and they really had a bond as friends.” she declares. And to add about her husband’s partner: “She gave me confidence and reassured me, because when our man leaves you for three months, when he is with another woman every day… All these things can affect you.”

Daniela Capone spoke about other reasons for her concern during her husband’s participation in the TF1 program. “You should know that every evening, Nico was alone in Paris, he had no friends. He was happy to do the adventure, but he was sad to be far from his wife and child.”she explains. With her son Mattia, the 28-year-old young woman called her other half after each training session from Switzerland, the couple’s place of residence. But with this experience, she seems to have better understood being far from him during the expedition. The Island : “I wanted to do things well so much that I focused on the adventure.” A separation which fortunately only lasted around ten days as far as the M6 show was concerned.
