Celebrities are uniting to help those affected by the Los Angeles fires. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no exception.
Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex have opened their home to their friends affected by the wildfires.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed their support for those affected by the devastating fires raging in Los Angeles County since Tuesday, opening their homes to loved ones who were forced to evacuate.
The fast-moving fires began Tuesday and have forced more than 100,000 people to flee their homes. As the fires continue to burn, the couple has opened their home in Montecito, in neighboring Santa Barbara County, to friends and family, according to People.
Harry and Meghan are also working with their Archewell Foundation to help the community during the current crisis. They also partnered with World Central Kitchen to bolster relief efforts and donated essential supplies, including child care items.
Not the only ones
For her part, Basic Instinct actress Sharon Stone also opened her home to those affected by the fires.
-“I welcomed friends into my home. Families are now coming to stay with us,” she told NewsNation. “We are setting up a place to be able to help people. We are setting up beds and space in the house.”
The star also encouraged her fans to donate to a store called The Coop, which was set up by her sister and a friend to provide essential items to those who have lost their homes.
Catwoman star Halle Berry searched through her wardrobe for anything she could donate to The Coop.
“I’m packing my entire wardrobe and heading to the COOP! If you live in Southern California, I invite you to do the same,” she wrote on Instagram. “This is something we can do today to help all displaced families who need the basics today! Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. Love you Lady.
