This Thursday January 9, 2025, the film The Gardenerby David Charhon, was released on the Prime Video platform. Et among the actors, there is Michaël Youn and Jean-Claude Van Damme. An atypical duo which delighted the first, totally fan of the second. Asked how he agreed to play in this film without even reading the script, Michael Youn indicated on France Inter that only the mention of the name Van Damme convinced him: “When the producer called me and said ‘I would like to offer you a comedy with fighting, an offbeat comedy with Jean-Claude Van Damme, I said ‘ok stop. Send the script, I’ll read it but I’m already telling you yes, you can call my agency’”, he confides.

The opportunity for him to review images from his previous films, notably Kickboxerin which he dances. “I learned some new moves”says the actor, very proud of himself.
