Fires have been ravaging the area around Los Angeles since the start of the week. Several stars unfortunately lost their homes in the flames, others had to evacuate their homes urgently.
The fires in California continue to spread and devastate everything in their path. Flames engulfed entire neighborhoods around Los Angeles, leaving homes reduced to ashes. This Thursday morning, Laeticia Hallyday announced on Instagram that her villa had burned to the ground in Pacific Palisades. “We lost everything. There’s nothing left,” she wrote in the caption of a video of her neighborhood and her house, destroyed by the fires.

Paris Hilton saw her house burn live on television
Johnny’s widow isn’t the only celebrity to lose her home. Several Hollywood stars are currently going through the same ordeal as her. Heiress Paris Hilton revealed she watched her Malibu home burn down live on television. “No one should have to go through this (…) It is in this house that we have built so many precious memories,” she was moved on social networks. “It’s where Phoenix (editor’s note: her 2-year-old child) took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.” The 43-year-old star then clarified that she was safe with her loved ones.
Leighton Meester, aka Blair in Gossip Girland her husband Adam Brody, recently seen at the Golden Globes, also saw their house burned down in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood, where many celebrities live. The couple has not yet spoken. Ditto for the star of Dirty Dancing Jennifer Grey, whose villa was reduced to ashes as announced by her daughter Stella Gregg on social networks.

Mandy Moore and Jamie Lee Curtis fled Pacific Palisades
Mandy Moore, star of the series This Is Usand his family had to evacuate Pacific Palisades. The 40-year-old actress was able to count on the support of those close to her: “I am grateful to my friends for their kindness, because we found a place to land last night. I try to protect the children from the immense sadness and the worry I feel,” she confided on Instagram. “Honestly, I’m in shock. My children’s school has disappeared. Our favorite restaurants have been razed. So many friends and loved ones have also lost everything,” adds the actress, in the caption of videos of her destroyed neighborhood by the flames.
Jamie Lee Curtis also had to flee Pacific Palisades, but her home is “safe.” On Instagram, the actress mourns her neighborhood which has “disappeared” and launches a call for solidarity: “Help where you can. Thank you to the first responders and the firefighters”.

Mark Hamill, the interpreter of Luke in Star Warswas notably forced to abandon his home, near Malibu. “There were fires starting on both sides of the road,” he testifies on Instagram.
Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Reese Witherspoon and Matt Damon, who also reside in Pacific Palisades, have not yet given their news on social networks.
