During the stage expression class this Wednesday, January 8, Marlène Schaff asked the students to share memorable anecdotes. Marine, hesitant, finally recounted a hilarious mishap that occurred when she first started working in a dental clinic.
Tuesday and Wednesday were marked by the moving return of Marine and Charles to their native regions. These moments, rich in emotions, allowed the two academicians to recharge their batteries with their loved ones and to share unique moments with their numerous fans. Marine told Franck and Ebony about her memorable day, marked by the warm welcome at her former university where many students and professors were eagerly waiting for her. While Charles went to Pléneuf-Val-André, this Wednesday, January 8, for a signing session and a reunion with his loved ones, Franck, Ebony and Marine attend their stage expression course with Marlène Schaff, who has a big surprise in store: comedian Maxime Gasteuil is among them.
Students tell an anecdote under the gaze of a special guest
During the lesson, the stage expression teacher asked the three students to share an anecdote. Ebony opened the ball by humorously recounting that one of her teachers had confused her dreadlocks with her hoodie during a lesson. Then, it’s Marine’s turn who is visibly hesitant to get started. “I have one, but I don’t know… All of France will know, it’s embarrassing”she confided with apprehension. “It’s in relation to my job that I should have normally done. If I tell this anecdote, I will never be a dentist again”she added, causing a burst of laughter in the room. “Well it doesn’t matter, you’re going to be a singer!”encouraged Maxime Gasteuil, visibly curious. Finally, Marine resigned herself and went on stage to tell her story. She sets the scene: “It was in a clinic, where the patients were treated by us, the students supervised by the teachers.”
Marine (Star Academy) : “I just had the wrong tooth!”
In her fourth year of college, Marine made her debut in a dental clinic. Accompanied by her partner, Romain, her best friend, she had to treat a patient who had come for a consultation for the first time. “He has a lot of cavities. That day, we had to treat two cavities deep down.”she says. Marine took care of the care while Romain assisted her. A third-year intern was also present to observe. “I’m starting to get my bunt. I make a hole and I say to myself: ‘It’s strange, there are no cavities.’ The tooth is healthy, so I check on the x-ray. And it was the intern who said to me: ‘Marine, it’s the next tooth!’ I look up at Romain. He leaves the room to tell the teacher that I just had the wrong tooth. With my hand, I hid the last two, so for me they were not the two at the bottom. It was the only tooth in his entire mouth that wasn’t decayed! I holed a completely healthy tooth“. Marlène Schaff asks if the gentleman was made aware of the error. Marine responds in the affirmative: “Yes, and we filled his tooth. It’s okay, it was a small hole”. A funny anecdote that will remain engraved in her student memories.
