It was a discussion lasting almost two hours that the two hosts had together during this 87th episode. Together, they spoke in particular about therapy, the work of an animator, the childhood of Marc Labrèchehis family, and grief.

A notable moment of podcast was the host’s laughter, after about forty minutes of the episode, while Marc Labrèche told – and embodied – an anecdote about the rigidity of his father, the actor Gaétan Labrèche.

“I remember him taking me to rehearsals, and one time, I remember, it was quite wonderful, because he was playing in The Surprise Boxwhich was a super popular children’s show, and all the characters I saw on were there (…) There, my father, before entering the room, said to me: “There, dad is going to work , you sit there, you don’t say a word, I don’t want to hear you.” I go and sit on a small chair in the corner, and these rehearsals last three or four hours. And there, in turn, all the characters come to see me. I remember Jean-Louis Millette as a Doormat who leans towards me and says: “What’s the little boy’s name?” And then I said to myself: “I shouldn’t speak”…. I didn’t say a word.”

The host of I come to you then began to imitate at length the scene and its characters, who asked him questions which his father had to answer, since he did not flinch and therefore did not open his mouth once. The memory brought tears of laughter to Marie-Claude Barrette: “It’s sad, but I laugh at the same time.”

“I understand you laughing at that. I see myself, and I laugh,” replied Marc.

Later, touching moments of his life were discussed, notably the last exchange with his father, filled with love, as well as his last moments with the mother of his children, Fabienne Dordied in 2005.
