-An unexpected revelation about the presentation of the weather
This Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Evelyne Dhéliat was invited to the microphone of the show “Casta Réveille la France”, presented by Benjamin Castaldi on Europe 2. The host then asked her about the presentation of the weather: “Is it live all the time or is it sometimes recorded?” he asked.
To which the 76-year-old presenter replied: “In fact, after the 1 p.m. news, after Marie-Sophie Lacarrau’s news, yes, I’m live. On the other hand, the weather is stuck to the 8 p.m. news, it’s on the same set, with the same technical service, the same cameras so technically, it’s impossible to combine the two!”.
And to add: “So it’s recorded, so we record at the very end of the afternoon or beginning of the evening and we sometimes re-record for example when vigilance changes at the last moment, so there, we have a slot until 7 p.m. 30 to be able to record or otherwise it’s direct in the diary”.
