Sadly, reality met fiction last September when Maggie Smith died at the age of 89. His disappearance was mentioned this Tuesday, December 24 by the executive producer of Downton Abbey, Gareth Neame, who revealed to the TV Line site that a tribute to Lord Grantham’s mother would take place in the next film. This tribute was written and filmed before the death of the actress, and the producer, moved, imagines that it will be even more “poignant” than expected. Note that the last role of Maggie Smith’s career dates from 2023, in the feature film The Miracle Cluba British-Irish comedy-drama by Thaddeus O’Sullivan.
