The family of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn continues the happy news. Prince Casimir, one of the sons of the head of the ancient princely family, expanded his family. Already the father of three boys, Prince Casimir welcomed a little princess a few days ago. The family revealed their first name and shared a photo.

Prince Casimir welcomes his fourth child
Earlier this month, Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn's family gathered in a Munich apartment to celebrate the 105th birthday of the matriarch, Dowager Princess Marianne. The widow of the former head of the family is the mother of 81-year-old Prince Alexander, the current head of the princely family. Prince Alexander and his wife are the parents of seven children, two of whom had good news to share at the end of the year. Princess Marianne, nicknamed Mamarazza, has 67 descendants.

Prince Alexander and Princess Gabriella, born Countess of Schönborn-Wiesentheid, are the parents of Hereditary Prince Henrich (1971), Princess Alexandra (1973), Prince Casimir (1976), Princess Filippa (1980-2001) , Prince Louis (1982), Princess Sofia (1986) and Prince Peter (1992). A few days ago, Prince Peter, the youngest of his siblings and the last child still single, announced his engagement to his long-time partner Yurina Hattori-Roche, with whom he lives partly in Japan.

Alana's third pregnancy was kept secret
On Princess Dowager Marianne's birthday, in addition to Peter's engagement, another piece of good news was on everyone's lips: the birth of Prince Casimir's first daughter. Prince Casimir, father of three sons, became the father of a first daughter, Princess Anunciata, born December 1, 2024.
Prince Casimir is certainly the most publicized prince of the Sayn-Wittgenstein family, due to his first marriage. In 1999, Prince Casimir married Corinna Larsen, a German-Danish businesswoman, today known publicly as Corinna of Sayn-Wittgenstein. Corinna still uses the name of the princely family despite her divorce in 2005. The couple had a son, Alexander, born in 2002. Corinna de Sayn-Wittgenstein is known worldwide for her nearly eight-year relationship with King Juan Carlos of Spain and his son Alexander grew up very close to the former Spanish ruler.

Prince Casimir is a descendant of King James II of England. His ancestor is James Fitzjames, 1is Duke of Berwick, illegitimate son of King James II and Arabella Churchill. It was in London that he met model Alana Bunte. They got engaged in 2017 and married in 2019. Their first son, Salentin was born in April 2020 and their second son Georg was born in April 2023. Alana's third pregnancy had been kept secret and the birth of the little one Princess Anunciata also went almost unnoticed. His name appeared in the official biography of Prince Casimir on the Sayn Castle website. Chased by various businesses, Prince Casimir lives very discreetly with his family in North and South America, where he is co-owner of a financial institution that develops and manages agricultural projects.
The county of Sayn was established in 1387, located in the vicinity of Cologne. In 1607, the county was divided into several territories, distributed among several brothers. In 1834, King Frederick William III of Prussia granted the princely title to the branch of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn (established in Sayn), a branch of which was also incorporated into the Russian nobility.
