The one who recently celebrated her 45th birthday also talks about her ADHD, a disorder that she only discovered late and whose diagnosis shed light on some of her behaviors.
During this interview, Lola Dewaere also spoke about her body which she had so much difficulty understanding. The actress seen in comedy Damn then! thus recounted the remarks she faced in the cinema industry because of her curves: “People need to dream, and you don’t make people dream” or even “You need to lose weight…” Ancient history for the one who accumulates millions of viewers with her series? “It’s changing a little, but fatphobia is still present. As soon as someone tells you ‘but it’s okay, you’re not fat!’ we clearly feel the implication…”

The actress, who has shared the life of actor and photographer Gianni Giardinelli for a year and a half, assures us in the columns of Liberation : she finally managed to overcome the criticism. Her weight, her extra or fewer kilos, her body… she takes responsibility for everything and never hesitates to respond to comments on her Instagram account. “If I want to send myself a flan, a chocolate cake and an apple turnover, I do it”she affirms, confiding that she still strives to “eat better.”
