This Saturday, December 14, Futuroscope hosted the 95th Miss France ceremony, broadcast live on TF1. The event was hosted like every year for 30 years, by Jean-Pierre Foucaultaccompanied by the competition director Cindy Fabre and of Thierry Bauman. At the end of the ceremony, Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss Martinique, was elected Miss France 2025. She succeeds Ève Gilles, Miss France 2024who crowned her.

Angélique Angarni-Filopon makes the history of the Miss France competition, since she is 34 years old, a first! In fact, since 2021, the Miss France competition has made several major changes to its regulations, under the presidency of Alexia Laroche-Joubert. The competition is now accessible to transgender people and since 2022, no age limit is required (limit set at 24 years previously), married women and/or mothers can also enter and tattoos are now accepted.

What about international competitions?
Angélique Angarni-Filopon will be able to participate in Miss Universebecause the American competition also lifted the age limit a year ago. On the other hand, for the moment, she will not be able to compete in the election of Miss Monde « if conditions remain as they are” indicated Cindy Fabre at the microphone of Europe 1. In fact, the regulations stipulate that the age of the candidates must be between 18 and 27 years old.
