VIDEO – Monday evening, in the television news on France 2, the presenter introduced a subject on plagiarism by singing a few notes from the famous French singer’s hit.
After tackling Cyclone Chido on the island of Mayotte, Anne-Sophie Lapix decided to lighten the ambient atmosphere of her 8 p.m. news Monday evening by singing a song. While she was preparing to launch a report on the conviction of Gilbert Montagné for plagiarism, the journalist sang, by surprise, the notes of the chorus ofWe’re going to love each other.
A few seconds later, after its launch, the presenter started singing again. This time she tried her hand at the title: A girl from Francea song by Italian artist Gianni Nazzaro from 1976. The tune is similar to that ofWe’re going to love each other and it is, moreover, on this resemblance that the accusation of the Neapolitan interpreter rests. The latter claims that Gilbert Montagné’s hit published in 1983 is plagiarism.
