“There you go, it’s over…”: Moved, Nagui announces a big change in Don’t forget the words!

From this Monday, December 16, fervent viewers of Don't forget the lyrics may be surprised! For good reason, as Nagui announced in several videos revealed on the show's Instagram account, the program will have a makeover. For good reason, future shows were recorded on a completely new set. In complete transparency, Mélanie Page's husband – who has been at the helm of the program for more than seventeen years now – spoke about his first impressions. And during the very last recording, the latter was also overcome by strong emotion.

That's it, it's over…”: Nagui moved during the last edition of Don't forget the lyrics

In a series of videos published on the Instagram account of Don't forget the lyricsNagui thus lifted the veil on the changes that would soon occur. “That's it, it's over…”, he first assured in a first video, before correcting himself: “Not Don't forget the lyrics. We will come back, obviously. But what is finished is this set, this setting with practically 7,000 broadcasts that took place here.” Very marked by this change, the host then made extensive revelations about his state of mind in another video. “It's crazy, it still feels weird to me. It's super weird”, he confided, visibly already nostalgic. Before continuing, with emotion: “Okay, stop, I'm going to cry!“In view of his statements, there is no doubt that Nagui was very upset by this small change.

It's almost moving”: Nagui, very touched, during his visit to the new set

In a completely different video, Nagui was able to get a preview of his brand new workplace. If the members of the show's team were mostly delighted by the new set, the host appeared very touched during his visit. “It’s almost moving,” he reacted, before then correcting himself: “It's even downright moving”. However, once he regained his senses, the host was then a little more optimistic. “When you have the same setting for 17 years and you evolve it by exploding it in every sense of the word, it's exciting. Very exciting. It makes me want to be 17 years older”, he then remarked, confidently.
