The two West Indians Moïra André (Miss Guadeloupe 2024) and Angélique Angarni-Filopon (Miss Martinique 2024) shone this Saturday evening, on the Futuroscope stage, near Poitiers. The first is 3rd runner-up and the second obtained the crown of Miss France 2025! The gala evening was followed by millions of viewers.
It was ultimately the Martinican who brilliantly won the crown of Miss France 2025, on the Futuroscope stage near Poitiers, this Saturday December 14, 2024; This is a first for the Isle of Flowers! The beauty queen won the majority of viewers' votes. She attracted people for her presence, but also for her message: at 34, she has proven that perseverance can pay off.
The Guadeloupean Moïra André, who did not deserve anything, is the 3rd runner-up.
The final ranking is as follows:
- Miss France 2025: Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss Martinique, 34 years old
- 1era runner-up: Sabah Aib, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, 18 years old
- 2th dauphine: Stella Vangioni Schröer, Miss Corsica, 27 years old
- 3th runner-up: Moïra André, Miss Guadeloupe, 28 years old
- 4th dauphine : Lilou Emeline-Artuso, Miss Côte d’Azur, 22 years old
The Guadeloupean candidate was one of the favorites.
Moïra André demonstrated her dancing talents during her various performances on stage, notably on the title “Footlose“. Her sway, her confidence and her presence were remarkable. On social networks, fans say that she “burst the screen” !
The same goes for wearing a swimsuit, facing a member of the jury, exclusively female, who we know well: Marie-José Pérec.
When she was named among the last 15 candidates selected, she also spoke brilliantly. Moïra explained that her first name means “destin” ; this evening, she put hers in the hands of the viewers, she declared.
This good ranking of the Guadeloupean was predictable : since her election as Miss Guadeloupe on September 15, Moïra André has continued to distinguish herself from other contenders for the national crown.
She obtained the second best result during the traditional general culture test, during the preparation trip which took place in Ivory Coast at the end of November. Then, on December 10, relying on an artificial intelligence tool, the firm Avisia, an expert in data analysis, saw it as the big winner, at 68%.
The young Saintoise benefits from a large community on social networks; these admirers are all people who voted in his favor.
The supporters were also very active from Guadeloupe. A fan zone has been set up within the Dothémare cinema complex, in Les Abymes. Everyone hoped that the archipelago would win a fifth crown, after Véronique de la Cruz in 1993, Corinne Coman in 2003, Clémence Botino in 2020 and Indira Ampiot in 2023.
The result is ultimately more than honorable.
The inhabitants of Terre-de-Bas, Moïra's native commune, regret that nothing has been specifically planned, on the small island, for everyone to share this moment and watch the gala evening together. Neither association nor town hall to pull out all the stops.
So, it was everyone at home, on site ; everyone with their hearts beating for Moïra.
The family is, for most members, far away. Moïra's grandmother, however, did not miss anything from the show.
I am very happy for my little girl. I am very happy. Because here, they know that Moïra will give everything to do well in this competition.
Henriette Bordey, grandmother of Moïra André
And it is true that Moïra did honor to Terre-de-Bas and Guadeloupe!
