Tonight is the big night! The new Miss France edition is expected live on TF1. The ceremony is broadcast from the stage of the Arena Futuroscope where the 30 regional candidates are expected to parade. They will have the opportunity to introduce themselves but also to offer paintings, each more beautiful than the other on the theme of “big Miss ball“. And they will be judged both by viewers but also by the jury chaired this year by Sylvie Vartan. It will also be composed of the TV host Cristina Cordula, the dancer Fauve Hautot, the comedian Navel Madanifrom the pianist Katia Buniatishviliof the former Miss France Flora Coquerel but also of the triple Olympic athletics champion Marie-José Pérec.
We no longer present the latter, more accustomed to stadiums than to podiums but a competition remains a competition! It is therefore with her champion's eye that Marie-José Pérec will evaluate the contenders for the title of Miss France. After which, she will find her little family. Because the one we nickname the Gazelle is in a relationship with Sébastien Foucrasalso a former great champion since he notably won the silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in freestyle ski jumping. “He came to interview me at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004 for a music radio station. I remember that he wasn't very focused on his questions and I wasn't very focused on my answers. So much so that this interview was never broadcast! A sign, right? (…) We first had a beautiful friendship, before it turned into love. Today, twenty years later, everything is fine between us!“she said about their meeting pour Gala in July 2024.
Marie-José Pérec and Sébastien Foucras remote in a very small village
Together, they had a little boy called Nolan born in 2010. And the happy family shares their daily life between Paris and Curemonte, in Corrèze, a village of no less than 212 inhabitants. “We often go to Corrèze, forty minutes from Sarlat (Dordogne).
