On November 11, Johnny Hallyday's widow, while traveling in Vietnam, fell seriously ill. What operation did Laeticia Hallyday undergo?
Following this illness, Laeticia Hallyday was rushed to the hospital in Hô Chin Min (Vietnam) while she was traveling on a humanitarian trip since November 4. Indeed, Hélène Darroze's great friend is president of La Bonne Etoile, a charitable association which helps children and gives them access to care and education. Pyelonephritis is a urinary infection that mainly affects the kidneys and which can spread into the blood.
A serious infection
Always according to CloserLaeticia Hallyday was admitted to hospital with “fever and shooting back pain”. After a few days of rest and “antibiotic treatment to control the infection and prevent it from spreading into the blood”Laeticia Hallyday was able to resume her missions and visit the children who benefit from the help of the association she co-created with the chef Hélène Darroze. Although she had to shorten her stay and cancel a few appointments, Laeticia Hallyday was able to visit the city of Hanoi, which she describes as being her “eternal crush”.

Following her eventful journey and after taking a step back, Laeticia Hallyday spoke about this event which could have ended tragically. On November 27, she gave her news via an Instagram post. The ex-partner of actor Jalil Lespert writes: “During our humanitarian mission in Vietnam, a moment of trial came my way. But you were there, with your infinite tenderness and this discreet strength that characterizes you. You watched over me with love and modesty, as the only one a sister can do it”.

Laeticia Hallyday dedicated these words to Jeanne Mas, her sister-in-law.
