Last September, Crown Prince Christian of Denmark made a stopover in Paris, time to attend some events of the Paralympic Games, before continuing his trip to Africa. It is traditional for heirs to the Danish throne to have an experience abroad before starting their university studies.
Crown Prince Christian, 19, chose Africa, while his father, King Frederik South America. In a few weeks, King Frederik X and Queen Mary will once again be surrounded by their children to visit the former Queen Margrethe.
