ADOR reacted to NewJeans' announcement of the termination of their contract.
This November 28, the five members of NewJeans held a press conference to announce that they were terminating their contracts with ADOR effective November 29 at midnight.

After their press conference, ADOR released a statement to remind NewJeans that they could not leave the agency like this. In this press release, the agency wrote:
“This is an announcement from ADOR.
We regret that a press conference to announce the termination of the exclusivity contract was planned and carried out before even receiving a response to the content certification and without sufficient analysis.
ADOR, as a party to the exclusivity contracts, has not breached the contracts, and claiming that trust has been unilaterally broken is not grounds for termination.
Exclusive contracts between ADOR and NewJeans members remain valid. Therefore, we expect them to continue their planned activities with ADOR as they have done to date.
We requested several meetings with the artists, but they did not take place. We hope that even now we can open our hearts and have heartfelt conversations together.
ADOR will do its best to support NewJeans in their activities and help them further develop as global artists. »
