On November 11, it was very happy that Laeticia Hallyday announced on Instagram her return to Vietnam. “Moved to return to Vietnam for this mission that is so close to my heart. Finding our teams, the children, and seeing everything that La bonne Etoile [son association, ndlr] accomplished on the ground fills me with gratitude and strength. Thank you to all those who make these concrete and hopeful actions possible,” we could read. She then added: “Every moment spent here is a reminder of the importance of acting together. Thanks to La Bonne Etoile, we are intervening to provide access to care, education, and to provide essential resources to vulnerable children”.

Laeticia Hallyday, committed to a good cause

Joy and Jade's mother had specified that she was working “for years to create secure reception spaces, classrooms, support projects for children and their families”and also support “local initiatives that help improve their daily lives”. “This adventure is a real collective commitment where each person plays a valuable role in the realization of these projects. Thank you to all our donors”she concluded. A few days later, our colleagues at Closer announced that Johnny Hallyday's last wife had to be urgently hospitalized.

Indeed, according to the magazine, the mother of two children suffered back pain and a high fever before being taken to hospital urgently. The verdict? Laeticia Hallyday would have contracted pyelonephritis, namely a bacteria which affects the kidneys and can spread into the blood… As a result, she was urgently hospitalized in Ho Chi Minh and has not returned to the web since. This Wednesday, November 27, the blonde finally broke the silence on Instagram. She posted a video with her sister-in-law in which she briefly discussed these recent ailments.

“Gratitude in its purest form… my dear Jess, my precious sister-in-law. During our humanitarian mission in Vietnam, a moment of trial came my way”she first confided. And to add gratefully: “But you were there, with your infinite tenderness and this discreet strength that characterizes you. You watched over me with love and modesty, as only a sister can do. I will never forget these moments when your presence allowed me to find the serenity necessary to heal, and the strength to continue this mission which is so dear to us for La bonne Etoile”. “Thank you for carrying me when I needed it,” she concluded, moved by the significant support provided by the one who is more than just a sister-in-law in her eyes.
