A love story that ended suddenly. Married since 2018, Patrice Maktav and Lucie Bernardoni separated last year. Guest on the set of Jordan Deluxethe former candidate of the first season of the
Star Academy spoke about his divorce, with a lot of emotion.
A decision that was difficult to announce. “It’s true that we didn’t say it, because we were trying to avoid romanticizing our lives on social networks, to be a little quiet, to not have to tell. It was still painful and here”he says, before adding: “what we experienced was
so strongin the good and the bad.”
Patrice Maktav talks about his health problems
Throughout their relationship, Patrice and Lucie overcame many difficult moments, hand in hand. And this is undoubtedly what strengthened their bond.
“We had a lot of challenges, I won't tell you the details, but we had to face extremely violent things“he declares vaguely.
“Illness or something?”questions Jordan de Luxe. “Yes, I was sick”admits the actor.
“She saved my life once, it's true. I don't like to talk about it too much, to dwell on it and make drama about it, but… I have fairly fragile health, I ended up in the hospital.”he continues.
Patrice Maktav: “It was a big trauma for her”
A revelation that the host did not expect.
“She saved your life in what way?”he asks. “I don't know if I should tell you this, because it belongs to him too and I don't like talking when people aren't around…”slips Patrice Maktav. His voice breaking, he decides to open up a little more: “But she brought me back. I had a chronic infection, I'm epileptic, I have a caverno, I have something in my skull that's giving me problems. Every now and then it happens and there is a blackout.
“There, it was 18 minutes where we didn't know if I was going to come back“, reveals the 46-year-old singer. “Comitial seizures, epileptic seizures are very spectacular, so it was a big trauma for her because she saw them. I'm so mad at myself for putting him through this. That's one of the things that is violent, but which is not the thing for which we separated. She really saved my life.” he concludes.
