Kamel Ouali participated in the first eight seasons of the Star Academy as a dance teacher. Then, when tele-hook returned to TF1, he was replaced by Yanis Marshall then Malika Benjelloun. But the famous choreographer made his return recently, during alumni week. He thus staged Ebony to the sound of Sweet Dreams from Eurythmics. A successful painting! That was all it took for the Kamel Ouali effect to take effect: many viewers asked for the star's return. And it seems that the request has been heard. Indeed, as Kamel Ouali himself reveals on the set of Buzz TV of Figaro Tuesday November 26, 2024, a return is planned: “Going there for a week as a guest, I like it. Not certain therefore that he will be able to make himself available to return for good to the Star Academy. “Honestly, it would be complicated with my schedule, because I also did lots and lots of things“, he indicates. And to recall that Malika Benjelloun does an excellent job in her position: “Malika, she's great. Like I said, she's my little sister. But here we are, we do different jobs and everyone has their place. And what she does, she does it with a lot of honesty and she's a hard worker.“The tenants of the castle will not say otherwise!
