On her Instagram account, Barbara Pravi paid a moving tribute to the musician Nino Vella, who died this Monday, July 1, at just 31 years old.

This Monday, July 1st, Nino Vella died at the age of 31. Known for having postponed the show The Artist Presented by Nagui on France 2, the musician and member of the group Rouquine died suddenly at his home, his father told Western Mail. During his career, the pianist collaborated with several big names on the music scene. A former victim of domestic violence, Barbara Pravi then reveals that Nino Vella was inspired by her story to compose the song Narcissistic pervert by Black M on which she lends her voice. “While recording I couldn’t breathe because it was so alive inside me. You took me out of the booth, I looked at you, you seemed sorry for having ‘sold’ something of mine and I smiled at you for having done it, because it was a first step towards my healing. There are traces of this story, I think it consoles me a little.”says the singer, who had forged a very strong relationship with the musician. “You were beautiful. Brilliantly human. You brought people together with your big arms. […] You have left love everywhere. I will hope to find a sign of you in a future lodge, perhaps. Or in the wind. Or in the stars.”she wrote.
