A former victim of domestic violence, Barbara Pravi then reveals that Nino Vella was inspired by her story to compose the song Narcissistic pervert by Black M on which she lends her voice. “While recording I couldn’t breathe because it was so alive inside me. You took me out of the booth, I looked at you, you seemed sorry for having ‘sold’ something of mine and I smiled at you for having done it, because it was a first step towards my healing. There are traces of this story, I think it consoles me a little.”says the singer, who had forged a very strong relationship with the musician. “You were beautiful. Brilliantly human. You brought people together with your big arms. […] You have left love everywhere. I will hope to find a sign of you in a future lodge, perhaps. Or in the wind. Or in the stars.”she wrote.
