27 years after his death, Sarah Ferguson still suffers from the loss of his friend, Lady Diana. On Instagram, the Duchess of York shared a touching message for the princess who died in 1997, who would have celebrated her 63rd birthday on this July 1, 2024.
“Happy birthday to my dear friend, Diana”writes Prince Andrew’s ex-wife. “You were a pillar of light and love. And you left such a legacy behind. I will remember our laughter and the closeness of spirit I found in you.” To support her words, the mother of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice shared a photo souvenir in which both appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, hats on their heads.
