Audrey Lamy's filming anecdote

Questioned by journalists of AllocinéAudrey Lamy shared a memory from filming that could have gone very wrong. A mother's life is often complicated, so when you add a child with autism, it can quickly become unbearable. It is this suffering that Alexandra Lamy's little sister tried to portray. Unfortunately for her, one of the scenes filmed outdoors saw the intervention of a passerby to try to stop her while she was shaking her fake baby.

“It was super scary. In fact, we were filming in a street, but the camera was in a café that was across the street, so we didn't know it was filming. (…) The baby after a while, I take it and I shake it and it feels very real. I don't realize that there are real people around me. It was only afterwards that I understood. There is a gentleman who obviously came – and so much the better, there are people moving. I almost got punched in the nosebut at the same time, so much the better.”

The absence of his children during filming

This filming, which lasted almost two months, was also an opportunity for Audrey Lamy to realize how much she missed her own children. This absence was probably reinforced by the extremely touching theme of the film. She also admitted during an interview with Laurent Delahousse that she had at times transfers to his young partner Eden Lopes.

“They are small: I have an 8-year-old boy, Léo, and a 3-year-old girl, Alma. I missed them so much. (…) I have completely taken over Eden, my young partner who is the age of my son. When I kiss him and say: 'You are my love baby'it wasn't in the text, it's the mother who speaks”. A magnificent film in any case, not to be missed under any circumstances.
