Lionel Messi is expanding the scope of his commercial collaborations a little more widely by signing a multi-year partnership with Stanley, the American manufacturer of insulated items. The first collection resulting from this partnership will be available from December 3.
This alliance is not the result of chance. The Inter Miami captain has a special relationship with the century-old brand, dating back to his childhood in Argentina. A well-known fan of mate, the traditional South American drink, Messi uses Stanley products on a daily basis, particularly their range dedicated to this traditional drink.
Stanley, a brand that Lionel Messi has long been fond of
The “Messi x Stanley 1913” collection will include insulated cups and bottles suitable for different uses, as well as a traditional mate set consisting of a calabash and a bombilla (filter straw). Each product will feature the “GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time) logo and the player’s signature, thus combining tradition and sporting recognition.
“This collaboration perfectly reflects the authenticity of our brand,” explains Matt Navarro, global president of Stanley 1913. For his part, Messi emphasizes that Stanley accompanies him on a daily basis, becoming “a faithful companion” in his daily routine. This association is part of the player's strategy of diversifying his activities, which is increasing commercial partnerships while continuing his sporting career in the United States.
