Indira Ampiot (Miss France 2023) reacts to her performance in the Miss Universe competition

Indira Ampiot has just ended her Miss Universe adventure with a smile. Although the young woman did not win the crown as she hoped, she nevertheless managed to maintain her good humor and be content with her place in the top 30.

The competition was tough in the international competition, which took place in Mexico City on the night of Saturday November 16 to Sunday November 17, since no less than 125 candidates were vying for the title of Miss Universe 2024.
The representative of France, however, was able to do well since she was called – the first – among the 30 semi-finalists. Then, she produced a dynamic and successful swimsuit parade.

Unfortunately, the rest of the competition was not favorable to her since she was not chosen among the 12 young women selected among the finalists. It was ultimately the Danish Victoria Kjær Theilvig who won the competition.

At the end of the show, Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023, took the time to give her feelings to her fans in a video that she posted as an ephemeral story on her Instagram account. “ Everything is fine. A little disappointed it's true not to have been further than the top 30, but I tell myself that I was still ranked and that's greatshe began. In all cases, I am very happy with my performance. I am very happy with everything I have done. I had fun, that's the main thing. I was very happy and very proud to represent France in the Miss Universe election. I tell myself that the best is yet to come, that it may be “a blessing in disguise” but I still remain proud of myself, proud of what I have done.”

The 20-year-old young woman also posted a photo of herself alongside Miss Belgium, who was her roommate during her adventure, and Miss Guinea with this comment in English: « Le best prize of all of this » meaning “The greatest reward of all this” highlighting the beautiful friendships she made there.

This Sunday, November 17, Indira Ampiot packed her bags to return to Paris. Once on the plane, she addressed her community again in a video. She explains that she is going to take some time off with her family. “I’m going to find my mom since we’re both going to take a little trip”she clarified.
