Unmissable Popeye in the saga of TannedThierry Lhermitte spoke frankly to the journalists of the Parisian. If he is now enjoying happy days with his wife Hélène Aubert since their marriage in 1974 – they have become parents of three children: Astrée (in 1975), Victor (in 1979) and Louise (in 1993) – the actor who will celebrate his 72nd birthday on November 24, he was in a relationship with Valérie Mairesse between 1972 and 1973. Very modest, he nevertheless indicated that he was particularly touched and bruised by this breakup.

Shaken by their separation, he explains: “I didn't commit suicide. But it was hard. A youthful heartache. Coluche invited me to his house, I went there all the time, the others did too”.

A sad teenager, he adds: “I had no taste for anything“It was truly his arrival in The Splendid that completely changed his life and gave him back the taste for living.”It's personal. As soon as we met, it was a brightening moment in my life. We were all not very happy in our family, for various reasons, and suddenly we formed our own family, we adore each other, we laugh, we make fun of everything. (…) We appreciated each other so much. It's very reassuring to be in a group, after adolescence“, he confided.
Nostalgic for his friend Michel Blanc, who died on October 3, 2024, he wrote a lot about their links in this book: “IHe must not have had time to read it. The confirmation was three days before his disappearance. Has he read everything? I don't know anything about it.“.
