Where are you taking us? Usually, carpooling is done in road cars, you surprise me!

We are going to the -Prenois circuit (Côte-d'Or), aboard the Lamera of the Fast Kukki Racing team, the team with which I competed in four Cup events this season. It's tradition. On Friday, before testing begins, guests can be taken in the passenger seat to show them the sensations of this well-made prototype. You're in luck, because we're going to take a particularly fun route with some nice curves and lots of ups and downs.

Why did you set your sights on the Lamera Cup?

I really like the philosophy of this single-brand cut. Everyone has the same equipment. Our cars are identical in performance. It's very nice to drive, especially because there is no steering assistance. You have to ride fast while taking care of your ride. What doesn't spoil anything is that the general atmosphere is good-natured and the driving time on the track is very long. For me, it's a pleasant way to disconnect from my usual job while still being very diligent behind the wheel.

As a kid, did you dream of being a pilot or a singer?

Neither. I dreamed of becoming a professional footballer! I played very well. From 13 to 15 years old, I was regularly selected for the Red Devils (the Belgian national team. Editor’s note).
